AMBROSIA 
2 (13 oz.) can pineapple chunks, drain and save juice
2 c. fresh oranges or 1 can mandarin oranges, drain and save juice
2 ripe bananas
2 c. white seedless grapes
1 (3 1/2 oz.) can flake coconut (1 1/3 c.)
Whole maraschino cherries
1 (7 oz.) bottle ginger ale; optional

Drain pineapple and oranges. Peel bananas; slice and place in orange or pineapple juice, allotting 1/4 of bowl for each fruit. Put half of fruit in bowl and sprinkle with half of coconut. Put rest of fruit on top of this mixture and pour rest of pineapple juice over fruit. Chill well.

At serving time, pour ginger ale over fruit. Sprinkle with cherries and rest of coconut. Serves 8-12.
