CHERRY DELIGHT | |
2 boxes cherry Jello 1 c. sugar 1 stick butter 1 (#2) can crushed pineapple 1 c. nuts, chopped 2 eggs Vanilla wafers 1/2 pt. whipping cream Dissolve Jello in 2 cups hot water, add 2 cups cold water and partially congeal. Cream 1 cup sugar, 1 stick butter; add 1 can drained pineapple, nuts and well beaten eggs. Line 9 x 13 inch pan with vanilla wafers. Pour mixture over wafers. Add another layer of wafers and pour partially congealed Jello over them. Place in refrigerator and congeal. Spread sweetened whip cream over top. Cut in squares. Serves 15. |
