DONUTS 
10 c. flour
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. salt
2 c. lukewarm milk
2 c. lukewarm water
4 eggs, beaten
2 packs yeast or 2 tsp. dry yeast

Dissolve yeast in water and milk, add salt and sugar. Let stand 10 minutes. Add beaten eggs into the liquid. Add shortening. Then knead in the flour gradually. Let raise until it doubles in size. Knead and let raise again. Then roll out about 1/2 inch thick. Cut and let raise. Fry in deep fat. makes about 90 donuts.
