SPEEDY CARAMEL FROSTING 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. milk
2 c. confectioners' sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter in saucepan. Blend in brown sugar and salt. Cook over low heat 2 minutes stirring. Add milk continue stirring until mixture comes to a boil. Remove from heat.

Blend in confectioners' sugar gradually. Add vanilla and mix well. Thin with small amount of milk if necessary or thicken with confectioners' sugar if necessary.
