QUICK CARAMEL FROSTING 
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
Pinch of salt
2 tbsp. milk
1 1/4 c. sifted confectioners' sugar
1/4 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter in saucepan. Stir in brown sugar and salt. Cook 2 minutes over low heat, stirring constantly. Add milk, stir constantly until mixture comes to a boil. Remove from stove. Gradually stir in sifted confectioners' sugar.

Add 1/4 tsp. vanilla and mix well. If too thick, add milk to desired consistency.
