1 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
4 c. sifted flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. milk

FILLING:

1 c. Crisco
4 tbsp. butter
4 tsp. vanilla
1 box powdered sugar
1/4 c. milk

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream sugar and shortening. Add cocoa, eggs, 2 teaspoons vanilla, flour, salt, soda and 1 1/2 cups milk. Drop by spoonfuls on cookie sheet. Bake 12 minutes. Prepare filling and put between cookies.
