FRENCH HERB BUTTER WITH FRENCH
BREAD
 
1 c. butter, softened
4 tbsp. cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 tsp. garlic, minced
1 1/2 tbsp. chives, chopped
3 tbsp. lemon juice
1 1/4 tsp. lemon pepper
1 loaf of Italian bread

Blend all ingredients. Cut the loaf of bread either in 1/2 length - wise or cut slices into the loaf, then spread the mixture on the bread. Wrap the loaf of bread in aluminum foil. Set oven to 325 - 375 degrees and bake 10 - 20 minutes, until bread is crisp and mixture is melted.
