DIANNE'S DATE COOKIE BALLS 
1 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 c. sugar
2 c. ground dates (Dianne uses the ground and sugared ones)
2 c. chopped walnuts
4 well beaten eggs
4 tbsp. melted butter

Mix all ingredients. Put in 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees. When edges start to brown, stir mixture all around in the pan. Bake until light brown. Cool enough to handle. Butter your hands and use a teaspoon to scoop out dough. Roll into balls and then into brown sugar. Set balls aside to finish cooling.
