RUM BALLS 
1 c. vanilla cookies, rolled fine
1 c. powdered sugar, reserve half c. for rolling
2 tbsp. cocoa
2 tbsp. corn syrup
1/4 c. rum

Mix. Form balls size of walnuts. Roll in whopped nuts. Should be made at least 1 week ahead of time to "mellow". Store in cookie tins-wax paper between layers. Yields about 40.
