1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries 1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jello 1 sm. can crushed pineapple 1 c. boiling water 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 2 c. confectioners' sugar 1 (8 oz.) pkg. Cool Whip 1 c. pecans 2 bananas, mashed Melt Jello in water. Add strawberries, pineapple and bananas. Jell. Mix cream cheese, confectioners' sugar and Cool Whip for topping. Top with pecans. Refrigerate. | |

This is an outstanding recipe in mine and my church family's opinion. I made the jello portion of the recipe the night before I needed the dish for our covered dish lunch at church. The cream cheese/cool whip part of the recipe was quick and easy in my mixer bowl. The recipe doesn't say to do that, but I don't feel that you could get a good mix by hand.
