3 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
1/2 c. water
2 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. cocoa
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1 c. nuts
1/2 c. chocolate bits
2 apples (2 c.), grated or finely chopped
1 tbsp. vanilla

Beat together eggs, sugar, butter and water until fluffy. Sift together flour, cocoa, soda, cinnamon and allspice. Add to creamed mixture and mix well. Fold in nuts, chocolate bits, apples and vanilla until evenly distributed. Spoon into greased and floured 10 inch loose bottom tube pan. Bake in 325 degree oven for 60 to 70 minutes until cake tests done.
