COUNTRY SAUSAGE WITH RICE | |
1 lb. smoked sausage, cut in 1/4 inch slices 1 pkg. onion soup mix 2 c. rice 4 c. water 2 tsp. salt 1 bell pepper 1 jalapeno pepper (optional) 1 tsp. parsley 1 can sliced mushrooms (optional) In large skillet brown sausage and peppers. Add water and let come to a boil. Then add remaining ingredients. Stir until it boils again. Cover and simmer 20 minutes on low heat. Serve from skillet. Quick meal in one. |
