RAW APPLE CAKE 
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 cups pecans
4 cups chopped apples
1 cup dates, chopped

Cream butter, sugar and eggs. Add flour, soda, salt and nutmeg and cinnamon. Add pecans, apples and dates. Spread in greased and floured 9x13-inch pan.

Bake at 325°F for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
