SCALLOPED POTATOES 
2 tbsp. plain flour
3 tbsp. butter
3 c. milk
2 c. shredded cheese
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
6 med. potatoes, peeled and sliced thin
2 tbsp. chopped onion

Make white sauce with first 3 ingredients. Put in cheese. Stir. Add salt and pepper. Put half of potatoes in greased 2 quart casserole dish. Cover with half the onions and half of the cheese sauce. Repeat layers. Cover and bake at 350 degrees about 1 hour. Uncover and continue to bake until top begins to brown.
