SELF-FILLED CHOCOLATE CAKE 
1 pkg. chocolate cake mix
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/3 c. sugar
1 egg
1 sm. pkg. chocolate chips

Make cake according to package directions. Pour into well greased and lightly floured bundt pan.

Cream softened cream cheese. Add sugar and egg until smooth. Stir in chocolate chips. Gently place on top of cake mix in pan. (This will sink in to make filling as cake bakes.)

Bake 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes or as indicated on box directions for type of pan used. Cool slightly and remove from pan. Drizzle chocolate frosting over top if desired.

May also be made as cupcakes.
