MOTHER FIELDS POUND CAKE 
2 sticks butter
3 c. sugar
3 c. flour
3 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. Crisco
3 tsp. lemon flavoring
8 oz. sour cream

Preheat oven to 350°F. Prepare Bundt pan with lard and flour. Allow butter to reach room temperature. Cream butter and Crisco together. Add sugar in 1 cup at a time. Begin to add flour in 1 cup at a time. Add baking soda and salt while adding flour. Add lemon flavor. Then fold in sour cream.

Bake cake mix for 1 hour. Test cake. When done, allow to cool or cut while still hot.

Enjoy with some Cool Whip or ice cream!
