EASY SWEET DILLS 
4 1/2 qts. dill sized cucumbers
18 heads dill
6 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
2 lg. onions
6 c. vinegar
1/2 c. pickling salt
1 1/2 tsp. mustard seed

Slice cucumbers in 1/2 to 1 inch slices. Slice onions. Put 1 large head dill in each jar along with 2 thin slices of onion. Fill jars with sliced cucumbers and shake each jar to pack. Make syrup of vinegar, sugar, salt, celery seed, and mustard seed. Add another head of dill to top of each jar, along with another slice of onion. Pour boiling syrup over cucumbers in jars. Seal at once. Process in boiling water bath for 5 minutes. Makes approximately 8 to 10 pints.
