WILD RICE CHEESE SOUP | |
1 c. wild rice 2 lbs. Velveeta cheese 2 cans cream of mushroom soup 1 qt. water 1 bag frozen mixed vegetables 1 sm. onion, chopped 2 ribs celery, chopped Pour wild rice in 4 cups boiling water. Simmer 30 to 45 minutes until desired doneness. Meanwhile, melt cheese in water/soup mixture. When cheese is melted, add all vegetables and rice when done. Simmer until vegetables are tender. Feeds a crowd and tastes even better the second day! |
