ROASTED SPARERIBS IN GARLIC
HOISIN SAUCE
 
6 garlic cloves, minced
1/3 c. soy sauce
1/3 c. Hoisin sauce
3 tbsp. honey
2 tbsp. ketchup
2 tbsp. rice vinegar or cider vinegar
2 tbsp. dry sherry
1 tbsp. chili oil or 1 tsp. red pepper flakes
1 tbsp. oriental sesame oil
3 1/2-4 lbs rack of spareribs

Make the marinade. In a shallow baking dish combine all the marinade, add the spareribs and turn to coat. Marinate 2-4 hours or overnight. Bake at 375 degrees (basting often) 45 minutes to 1 hour. Serves 4-6.
