1 c. butter (softened) 3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar 3/4 c. granulated sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 2 eggs 2 1/2 c. flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 2 c. raisins 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips Bet butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar with mixer at high speed until creamy. Add vanilla, eggs; blend thoroughly. By hand stir in flour, baking soda, and salt until well mixed. Stir in raisins and chocolate pieces; spoon dough by teaspoon 1 1/2 inches apart to allow to spread. Bake 8 minutes at 375 degrees. Transfer to wire racks to cool. Yield: 6 dozen. |
