BAVARIAN APPLE TORTE 
CRUST:

1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. sugar
1 c. flour

FILLING:

1 (8 oz.) Philadelphia cream cheese
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla

TOPPING:

1/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
4 c. apple slices
1/4 c. almond slices on top of topping

Use 9-inch springform pan. Bake 10 minutes at 450 degrees. Reduce to 400 degrees for 25 minutes.
