CHICKEN CACCIATORE | |
2 lb. cut-up chicken 2 tbsp. shortening 1 can tomato soup 1/4 c. water 1/4 c. red wine 1 tsp. oregano 1/4 tsp. salt 1 chopped green pepper 1 chopped onion Brown chicken in shortening. Drain off fat. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Last 30 minutes, remove lid until juice thickens. |
