POTATOES AND HAM SCALLOP | |
2 med. potatoes, thinly sliced 3 tbsp. chopped onion 6 oz. ham or Canadian bacon, thinly sliced or cut into 2 inch pieces 1 tbsp. flour 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/8 tsp. salt 3 tbsp. or more shredded Cheddar cheese 1/2 c. milk Grease baking dish and line it with 1/3 of the potatoes, 1/3 of the meat and sprinkle on some onions. Mix the flour, pepper, and salt together and sprinkle 1/3 over top of ingredients repeat these layers until ingredients are used and top with the cheese. Pour the milk over all and cover with plastic wrap turn back one corner to vent. Cook on high 100% power for 4 minutes, rotate dish now and then, cook until potatoes are done. Can make this in regular oven to brown the cheese, remove lid near end of cooking. |
