SOUTHERN PECAN PIE 
1 c. white sugar
1/2 c. Karo dark corn syrup
1/4 c. melted butter
3 eggs, well beaten
Pinch of salt
1 c. pecans
1 tsp. vanilla
1 unbaked 9" pie shell

Mix sugar, syrup and butter. Add eggs and pinch of salt. Beat until thoroughly blended. Mix in pecans and vanilla. Fill unbaked pie shell and bake at 350 degrees for about 40 to 45 minutes. If browning too fast, reduce heat to 300 or 325 degrees.
