SOUTHERN PECAN PIE 
1 c. pecans
1 c. dark corn syrup
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt
1 unbaked pie shell

Beat eggs slightly, mix in syrup, sugar, salt, butter, and vanilla. Mix well. Place pecans in bottom of unbaked pie crust. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Lower heat to 350 degrees and bake an additional 30 to 35 minutes until center is set.
