CUCUMBER PICKLES 
6 lg. cucumbers, sliced
2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
3 tsp. pickle spices

Boil sliced cucumbers in 2 cups water and salt until tender. Rinse and cool. Heat vinegar and sugar to dissolve sugar. Put cucumbers into 1 quart jar. Pour vinegar over cucumbers. Add spices. Makes 1 quart.
