TUNA MACARONI CHEESE LOAF | |
6 oz. pkg. macaroni 1 c. bread crumbs 1 c. milk 3/4 c. grated cheese 1 tbsp. each chopped onion & parsley 2 tbsp. chopped pimento 1 tsp. salt 2 eggs, beaten 2 c. tuna 2 eggs, beaten 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. each pepper & paprika 1 tbsp. chopped parsley 2 tbsp. lemon juice 1/2 c. bread crumbs 1/2 c. milk Cook macaroni as directed, drain and rinse. Combine bread crumbs, milk, cheese, parsley, onion, pimento, salt and eggs. Stir in macaroni. Pour 1/2 of mixture in well greased 5 x 10 inch loaf pan. Combine tuna with remaining ingredients. Pour over macaroni mixture. Pour remaining macaroni mixture over tuna. Bake in slow oven 325 degrees for 1-1 1/2 hours. Slice and serve. Serves 8. |
