1 qt. strawberries
1 c. sugar
1 c. hot water
3 tbsp. water
3 tbsp. cornstarch
Dash of salt
Red food coloring

Mix everything except strawberries and cook until thick. Add strawberries and pour in baked pie shell, top with whipped cream.
