HONEY TAFFY 
3 c. sugar
1 c. whipping cream
1 c. honey
1 tbsp. butter
1/8 tsp. salt

Combine all ingredients in sauce pan. Bring to boil over medium heat. STIR CONSTANTLY. Cook to soft crack stage (270 degrees). Pour onto a buttered surface, cool to touch. Pull taffy into ropes. Break or cut into 2 inch pieces. Wrap in wax paper if desired. Wrap again in colored tissue paper. Makes 2 3/4 pounds candy.
