WHITE SAUCE 
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. flour
2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper

Melt butter and blend in flour. Add milk gradually, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and add seasonings. Cook until it thickens.

May be used with chopped ham lunch meat over toast or over vegetables. Enjoy!
