TOMATO SOUP 
1 qt. tomato juice (homemade from fresh tomatoes, season with herbs & onion)
1 qt. milk
4 tbsp. butter
4 tbsp. flour
Salt & sugar, pinch of each
Pinch of soda
Beef bouillon cube(s), optional

Make cream sauce with butter, flour, milk, salt and sugar. Stir until thickened and lump free. Bring tomato juice to boil. Add pinch soda. Mix with cream sauce while hot. Bouillon cubes make richer taste.
