STUFFED CABBAGE 
2 lb. ground beef
1 lb. ground lean pork
1/2 c. rice (not minute)
2 big onions, diced
Salt & pepper
Sauerkraut
Tomatoes

Mix all ingredients by hand. Take cabbage apart. Gently, put in hot water, cover and steam. Take loose leaves out on a cookie sheet, start at big end of leaf (not stemmed end) fold over a heaping serving spoon of meat mixture. Put sauerkraut in large kettle, then a layer of cabbage rolls, repeat and cover with tomatoes. Cover and simmer for 3 hours.
