STRAWBERRY PRETZEL SALAD | |
2 1/2 c. crushed pretzels, slim type 3/4 c. butter 3 tbsp. brown sugar 3/4 c. powdered sugar 1 (8 oz.) Philadelphia cream cheese 1 (10 oz.) Cool Whip 1 (6 oz.) strawberry Jello 1 lb. frozen strawberries Melt butter and sugar; add pretzels and press in 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees about 8 minutes. Cream powdered sugar and cream cheese, then add Cool Whip. Mix well. Spread over the pretzels and cool. Dissolve Jello in 2 cups boiling water; add frozen strawberries and stir until strawberries are separated. Pour over cream cheese mixture and chill. This is very tasty; the unusual pretzel base is different but very good. |
