EASY GINGERBREAD 
1/2 c. shortening, melted and cooled
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. molasses
1 c. buttermilk

Melt shortening and set aside to cool. Beat eggs and set aside. Sift all dry ingredients together. Mix brown sugar, shortening, eggs and molasses. Mix with dry ingredients. Add buttermilk. Mix well and pour into an 8 x 8 baking dish.

Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes.
