CHERRY ALMOND SQUARES 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. Crisco
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. almond flavoring
1 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
3 c. flour
1 qt. cherry pie filling

Press 2/3 dough on large pan. Spread on pie filling. Add rest of dough. Bake at 350 degrees 20 to 25 minutes. Do not overbake.

GLAZE:

10X sugar
1 tbsp. butter
Milk to moisten
