FAST AND FANCY PATTIES 
1 lb. ground beef
1 med. onion, chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1 stalk celery, cut fine
2 slices dry bread, broken
1 c. tomatoes, fresh or canned
2 eggs
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Salt & pepper
1 can tomato soup or 2 cans tomato sauce

Saute onion, pepper and celery until clear. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix until blended. Form into patties and brown in large skillet. Pour on tomato sauce, reduce heat and simmer covered, until done, 30-45 minutes. Add water as mixture tends to thicken during cooking. Use tomato sauce as gravy over boiled potatoes or cooked rice. Serve patties on platter garnished with parsley.
