GRANDMOTHER CHOCOLATE CAKE 
1/3 lb. butter
3 eggs
3 tsp. vanilla extract
7/8 c. sugar
2 1/2 oz. walnuts, chopped
3/4 c. chocolate powder
2/3 c. milk
1 1/4 c. flour plus 1 tsp. baking powder
1/3 tsp. salt

Mix butter, eggs and sugar until the batter is light and fluffy. Add vanilla extract, walnuts, chocolate powder, flour and baking powder, salt and milk. Mix again until the batter is mixed well. You need a 12 inch pan, grease it with butter. Pour batter into pan. Bake at 375 degrees in the middle of the oven 45 to 50 minutes. When the cake is cold, put some powdered sugar over it.
