ROLLED OAT WHEAT BREAD 
1 pkg. dry yeast
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. lukewarm water
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. molasses
2 1/2 c. boiling water
1 tbsp. shortening
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1 c. oats
2 c. whole wheat flour
4 c. white flour

In a bowl put yeast, sugar and lukewarm water; let rise approximately 15 minutes.

In large bowl put oats, molasses, boiling water, shortening, sugar, salt. When this mixture has cooled add the eggs, yeast, whole wheat flour, white flour. Mix all together.

Knead lightly, place in large lightly greased bowl for 1 1/2 hours. Next cut into 3 loaves. Knead again and place in bread pans and let rise 40 minutes. Bake in preheated oven 350 degrees 32 minutes.
