ROLLED OATS BREAD 
2 c. rolled oats
2 tbsp. shortening
2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. molasses (dark strong)

Put 3 cups of milk on to scald. Add ingredients to milk and cool to lukewarm. Add yeast cake dissolved in 1/2 cup lukewarm water. Stir in enough flour to make batter stiff. Let rise and proceed like any yeast bread.
