STUFFED PORK CHOPS | |
4 to 6 pork chops, 1 inch thick 2 c. seasoned croutons 1/2 c. water 1/2 c. mushrooms, chopped 2 tbsp. parsley 1 tsp. Italian seasoning 2 celery sticks, chopped 1 onion, chopped 1 tbsp. oil Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Make a slit in center of pork chops to bone to make a pocket. In small mixing bowl, combine the balance of the ingredients, except oil, and blend well. Insert mixture into pockets. In large skillet, heat oil, and brown pork chops on both sides, place in covered baking dish and bake for about 1 hour, turning occasionally. Serves 4-6. |
