DILLY BREAD 
1 pkg. yeast
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. instant minced onion or 1/2 onion, chopped
1 c. lg. curd creamed cottage cheese (warmed)
1/4 c. water (warm.)
2 tsp. dill seeds
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. butter
1 egg
2 1/4-2 1/2 c. white flour

Mix yeast, sugar, salt, soda, dill seeds and minced onions in bowl. Add warmed cottage cheese and water. Mix well until yeast is dissolved. Add butter and egg, then flour and mix vigorously until batter comes away from sides of bowl. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled (50-60 minutes). Stir down with 25 vigorous strokes.

Turn into well greased 1 1/2 to 2 quart baking dish. Cover and let rise in warm place 30-40 minutes. Bake at 300 degrees until done (40-50 minutes). Cover with foil last 15 minutes of baking if necessary to prevent burning.
