SKILLET GOULASH 
1 1/4 lb. ground beef
2 tsp. salt
1 can tomato juice
2 tbsp. corn syrup
1/2 tsp. paprika
4 med. carrots, pared and quartered
1/2 med. cabbage, cut into 4 wedges
1 can whole potatoes, drained
1 tsp. caraway seeds

Mix ground beef lightly with 1 teaspoon of the salt, shape into 12 balls; flatten each slightly. Brown meat patties in a large frying pan; remove with a slotted spoon and set aside.

Stir in tomato juice, remaining 1 teaspoon salt, corn syrup and paprika into pan; add carrots; cover. Simmer 10 minutes; add cabbage wedges, potatoes and meat patties. Sprinkle with caraway seeds. Simmer 20 minutes longer or until cabbage and carrots are tender.
