PECAN CREAM CHEESE SQUARES 
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
3 eggs
1/2 c. butter, softened
2 c. chopped pecans
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
3 2/3 c. confectioners sugar

In a mixing bowl, combine cake mix, 1 egg and butter. Stir in pecans; mix well. Press into a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar and 2 eggs until smooth. Pour over pecan mixture.

Bake at 350°F for 45 to 55 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on wire rack. Cut into squares. Store in refrigerator.

Yield: 3 dozen.
