CREAM CHEESE PECAN TARTS | |
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 1/2 c. butter 1 c. sifted flour 1 egg, beaten 3/4 c. brown sugar 1 tbsp. butter, softened 1 tsp. vanilla 1/8 tsp. salt 1 c. chopped pecans To make dough, soften cream cheese and butter at room temperature. Cream softened cream cheese and butter; add flour. Chill 1 hour, then mold in tart pans. Prepare filling by combining egg, brown sugar, 1 tablespoon butter, vanilla, salt and pecans. Fill each tart cup 2/3 full. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Remove from pan when cool. |
