ORIGINAL TOLL HOUSE COOKIES 
2 1/4 c. unsifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
Pkg. of semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1 c. chopped nuts

In a small bowl, combine flour, soda, salt, and set aside.

In a large bowl, combine sugar, butter, brown sugar, and vanilla.

Beat until creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour mixture and mix well. Stir in chocolate morsels and nuts. Drop by rounded teaspoon onto ungreased cooking sheet and bake 8-10 minutes at 375 degrees.

Makes 100 2-inch cookies.
