1 qt. strawberries
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. cream, whipped
1 tsp. vanilla

Cover bottom of 9 inch baked pie shell with part of raw berries, crush remaining berries, add sugar and cornstarch and cook until thick. Add vanilla and cool. Pour over raw berries. Spread whipped cream over the top and decorate with a few whole berries. Refrigerate.
