GERMAN APPLE CAKE | |
1 c. salad oil 3 eggs 2 c. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 2 c. flour 1 tsp. baking soda 2 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. salt 1 c. walnuts, chopped 4 c. apples, diced Beat salad oil and eggs until foamy. Add sugar, vanilla, flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Fold in walnuts and apples. Put in greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes. As soon as cake comes out of oven, spread with this mixture: 1 1/2 tbsp. butter 1 tsp. vanilla 3/4 c. 10X sugar 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese Blend well. |
