GERMAN APPLE CAKE | |
2 lg. eggs 1 c. oil 2 c. sugar 2 c. flour 1 tbsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking soda 4 c. chopped apples, peeled 1/2 c. nuts (optional) 2 c. raisins (optional) Beat eggs and oil. Add sugar, flour, cinnamon, vanilla, salt and soda and beat well. This will be thick and dry. Add apples, nuts and raisins. turn into 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes. Frost with cream cheese frosting. |
