SQUASH CASSEROLE 
2 1/2-3 lb. squash
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped
1/2 stick butter
1 egg
Salt & pepper to taste
1/2 c. milk
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. sharp cheese, grated

Cook squash. Drain. Add butter, salt and pepper. Beat egg. Stir in milk and cornstarch. Add to squash. Pour into buttered casserole. Add cheese and cut into squash. Top with bread crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
