BEST CHOCOLATE PIE | |
2 c. scalded milk 1/3 c. flour 1 c. + 2 tbsp. sugar 1/3 c. cocoa 1 tsp. vanilla 4 tbsp. butter 3 egg yolks, beaten 1 tbsp. cinnamon Mix together sugar, cocoa, flour. Gradually stir in scalded milk. Cook over medium heat until it comes to a boil, then cook until thick (about 4 minutes); stir constantly. Add 4 tablespoons of the chocolate mixture into beaten egg yolks; mix, then pour egg mixture into the chocolate mixture gradually; stir constantly. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, add butter, vanilla, cinnamon. Mix well. Pour mixture into graham cracker crust. Cool in refrigerator. Serve chilled with whipped cream. |
